The foregoing has necessitated a constructive development of inwardly looking corporate operational policies and guidelines that best meet the needs and aspirations of our healthcare and challenges.
Our new policy direction is:-
- To seek business alliances with reputable international pharmaceutical companies with the objective of selectively introducing their useful products into the Nigerian/ECOWAS market.
- To go into collaborative agreements with local researchers with a view to developing “home grown” drugs for specific ailments in key disease areas that plague our people.
- To deliberately foray into the manufacturing of affordable branded generics in common disease areas for use in our primary healthcare system.
- To deliberately encourage, facilitate, and partake in public awareness/advocacy programmes aimed at preventing or eradicating common preventable diseases.
