PROFILE OF THE NEIMETH PLANT
OUR LOCATION
The Neimeth plant is located at 16, Doherty Layout, Off Oregun Road, Oregun Industrial Estate. Total land mass is about 20 acres with enough land expansion for future purposes.
UNIQUE FEATURES AND KEY ISSUES
Neimeth plant is unique for many reasons:
The plant is installed to manufacture a wide range of pharmaceutical and veterinary products: Tablets, Capsules, Ointment/Creams, oral and Consumer Liquids, Powders, etc. in diverse packaging presentations.
The beneficial features of our Plant include:
Technical back up from Pfizer Corporation, USA (we are still manufacturing Pfizer's lines under licence) .
Good Manufacturing Practice (Pfizer Corp. empowered to regularly inspect our processes and systems in order to ensure compliance with current GMP.
NAFDAC PCN certified .
In-house water treatment facility comprising:- Water Bore Hole, De-ionisation, Distillation.
Following the recent restructuring, new opportunities have emerged, which vary from contract manufacturing to product customization and product analysis, using our excess capacity as the need arises. This excess capacity exists in several areas of the NEIMETH Plant Operations:- Tableting, Encapsulation, Ointments, Liquids, Labelling, Packaging, Blistering, Powder filling, counting (Tabs & Caps.).

FACILITIES
Our Pharmaceutical plant up-grade is currently ongoing. We recently acquired a multi-million-naira high-speed automatic encapsulator.
Arrangements have been concluded to install:
an automatic blister machine,
a GMP compliant high speed tableting equipment
a sugar coating machine
tablet counting machine
Digital laboratory and analytical equipment.
Neimeth has a plan to re-introduce a modern sterile facility by installing state-of-the-art equipment to produce injectables, eye drops and ointment by 2006. Diversification into food and health drinks is planned in the medium term.
CONTRACT MANUFACTURINGS
Any idle or unutilized plant capacity is normally deployed to contract manufacturing/tolling as preplanned.
Several companies/institutions have benefited from our unique expertise and technical competence of contract manufacturing/analysis. This cooperative gesture helps companies in the industry to meet their extra needs.
